Young people are facing many challenges at this time; they are dealing with the isolation of COVID-19 within the broader context of social unrest, bearing witness to, and/or experiencing the “real time” trauma of racial injustice. Having a safe space for our young people to speak, to share, and be supported is critical to their health and well-being.

Community partners are joining together to host a (1.5) hour private Zoom meeting facilitated by youth leaders and Raleigh-Organizing Against Racism (ROAR). We are looking to work with partners and parents to identify up to 40 middle and high school youth to participate in the event. Each young person will receive a $25 gift card for completing the session. The gift card will be emailed or mailed to the family. If you are interested in registering your child(ren) please send an email to Youth Thrive’s Director of Operations, Paul Brown at He will then follow up with further instructions.
